Formed in 2017 as a solo studio project by singer-songwriter Patrick Kapp, the group has expanded to feature Colin Mercer (bass), Owen Hemming (keys), Griffin Mang (guitar), and Patrick Hennessey (drums).
Midwestern Dirt has put out four LPs and two EPs on Pluto Records
MD has performed all over Chicago, including Subterranean, Golden Dagger, Martyrs’ and many more.
Musical influences include Radiohead, Alvvays, Deerhunter, Pavement, Angel Olsen + more
